Ecobrick nature pond is a earth garden project in Hampstead Norreys, West Berkshire, England, United Kingdom. The project is made from 250 ecobricks, resulting in the sequestration of approxamitely 60 kg of plastic.
This wildlife pond was built with ecobricks during lockdown. It has an eco-friendly pond liner and is planted with nature friendly plants from the local area. The aim was for the plants to hold the soil (chalk based with dried grass to bind) in place. Four years on it is doing well though the sides have needed to be reinforced.
