This was the first time Dian running an online workshop with support of Ani Himawati as the GEA Principal. Dian & Ani are based in Bali and the participants are from different parts of Indonesia
Since this is an online course the preparation were internet connection and the zoom app by GEA – Dian had 1 participant joined at her house, and also prepared ecobricks as examples and plastics that has been collected
Since this is the first time Ani present the first part about plastic & biosfer and Dian explained the part of how to make ecobrick
The audience are engaged and the session run for 2hrs continued with a week of ecobricks tutorial via Whatsapp group – this group continued to become a WAG for Dian’s workshop participants
There wasnt any significant challenges – Maybe more how to manage the timing since introduction taking quite sometimes in the beginning
There are many people in Indonesia that are curious to learn how to manage their plastic consumption, so interest is big then ecenthough ecobricks community is prominent in Indonesia, still more socialization needed – next workshiop participants intro can be done in WAG
