Session flows:
● The presentation on Plastic, the biosphere & ecobricks was delivered with examples. Many participants asked questions in between the presentation which made the session interactive with transfer of learning for everyone present.
● All Plastics were segregated and shredded properly to ensure quality density.
● Guided ecobricking was done by all participants.
● 46 ecobricks were made from the segregated plastics.
● A Hexagonal ecobrick module was made out of 19 ecobricks made in 250 ml bottles
● Total number of participants – 47
● In total, we sequestered 6kg 347 gms of plastics from going into the biosphere.
Special Thanks to Ms. Keepu Tsering Lepcha (Padmashree Awardee) and Principal of the school Ms. Tshering Donka Bhutia for organizing this workshop and became the 1st School in Sikkim state to accept ecobricks as the solution to plastic consumption and giving the opportunity to learn and have hands on ecobricks.
