Session flows:
● The presentation on Plastic, the biosphere & ecobricks was delivered with examples. Many participants asked questions in between the presentation which made the session interactive with transfer of learning for everyone present.
● All Plastics were segregated and shredded properly to ensure quality density.
● Guided ecobricking was done by all participants.
● 23 ecobricks were made from the segregated plastics.
● Ecobricks were logged into the GoBrik app
● A Triangular ecobrick module was made out of 12 ecobricks made in 250 ml bottles and a hexagonal module was made with 7 ecobricks made in 500 ml bottles.
● Total number of participants – 35
● In total, we sequestered 3kg 211gms of plastics from going into the biosphere.
Special Thanks to Dr. Sunu Subba and her team for organizing this workshop for the 1st time in Sikkim state and choosing ecobricks as the solution to plastic consumption and giving the opportunity to learn and have hands on ecobricks.
