This was the first Ecobrick workshop in New Zealand. This session was the first attempt to bring awareness of Ecobricks and what they are for the Hawkes bay Community.
We started to collect plastic waste from the Centre for 1 month prior to the workshop.
Everybody was engaged and willing to start a community project, the very first in New Zealand.
A community project was approved and financially supported by the Heretaunga Women’s Centre.
There was no project to start a collection of Ecobricks right after the workshop.
