Ecobrickers of the World Unite! The first International Ecobrick Convergence will take place in the month of January, in Jogjakarta, Indonesia. The month long event will bring together the various ecobricking movements around South East Asia.
The convergence is an unfolding collaboration between the Global Ecobrick Alliance, Sankring Art Space, the Global Ecovillage Network and the City of Jogja. Ecobrickers in Jogja– schools, community groups, bank sampahs and more are invited to contribute their ecobricks, stories and innovations to the collaborative exhibition in the spacious Sankring Art Gallery.
The exhibition will serve as the the backdrop for a month long series of trainings, workshops and circle exchanges that will converge leaders in the trash transformation movement from around South East Asia.
The grand opening on January 6th, will be followed by an English/Indonesian Trainer of Trainer workshop, cob and Ecobrick build, and series of lectures and workshops on the theme of “Life After Plastic”.
