From Russell in Bali, Indonesia
Well… I am impressed! A few weeks ago I made a presentation to the Bali Spa Association. It was a bold experiment to see if we could mobilize the myriad of spas and hotels here to do something about the abundance of plastic on the island. I checked in on the Fairmont Sanur Spa yesterday and found Wirati and her whole team Ecobricking like crazy– they have not only taken all of their spa’s plastic, but that of the hotel’s and even plastic from their homes. One of the staff is even getting her husband to pick up
plastic for her so she can make ecobricks! Wirati is logging the ecobricks that come in and tomorrow we check in with the other spas to see how their ecobricking is coming along.
